Management Asbestos Surveys
A management survey is intended to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, asbestos-containing materials that could be disturbed during normal occupation, maintenance and routine activities.
The survey provides information about the location, condition and extent of identified or presumed asbestos-containing materials, helping dutyholders maintain an asbestos register and manage asbestos safely.
Refurbishment Asbestos Surveys
A refurbishment survey is required where planned refurbishment work could disturb the fabric of a building. The survey is more intrusive than a management survey and is designed to locate asbestos-containing materials within the areas affected by the proposed works.
Demolition Asbestos Surveys
A demolition survey is required where a building is to be demolished. It is fully intrusive and is intended to locate asbestos-containing materials throughout the building before demolition work begins.
Both types of survey may involve intrusive inspection and destructive access where necessary.

Asbestos Sampling and Testing
